Operations Manager

Position Overview:

As the Operations Manager at Metisox, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. You will be responsible for tracking project statuses across production, sales, and marketing, ensuring that our teams are aligned and focused on achieving our strategic objectives. Your ability to identify problems and communicate effectively with the Board, CEO, owners, and investors will be key to our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track Project Status: Monitor and report on the progress of various projects within production, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Problem Identification: Proactively identify issues that may impact project timelines or team performance and work collaboratively to develop effective solutions.
  • Team Liaison: Act as a key point of contact between departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring that all team members are informed and engaged.
  • Communication with Leadership: Regularly communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to the Board, CEO, owners, and investors to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Priority Management: Work closely with the CEO to check priorities and ensure that resources are allocated effectively across projects.
  • Performance Oversight: Ensure that team members are fulfilling their defined responsibilities and provide support as needed to enhance performance.
  • Report Preparation and Presentation: Prepare clear and concise reports for a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that complex information is presented in an understandable format for diverse stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of consulting experience from a top-tier firm such as McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, and Bain & Company (MBB)
  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience liaising with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
